At Active In Movement we want to help you reach your goals by giving you a simple and sustainable plan that will make you see progress for years to come. You will have hands on coaching from one of our qualified coaches as well as the support and accountability of a community around you.

We want to meet you where you are currently at. We have 3 options to choose from: Group Training, Personal Coaching and Sport Conditioning. Depending on your goals, schedule, abilities and experience we can work together to find the best option for you.

Personal Coaching

If you have goals that are a bit more specific, are completely new to training or you just don’t like the group training vibe, then Personal Coaching is for you. You will work 1 on 1 with a coach to reach your goals. This will include a customized training plan that is designed for your goals and abilities, a lifestyle/ nutrition plan to make sure that you are thriving in and out of the gym, as well as someone to keep you accountable along the way. 

Group Training

If you are looking to get stronger and fitter, but do it with a community of like-minded people that will support and encourage you along the way, then our group sessions are perfect for you. These sessions are scalable to account for each person’s ability and is designed to make you stronger, fitter and flexible but do it in a long term sustainable way. Our Groups are relatively small (8 people MAX per class) and the sessions will consist of a thorough warm up, strength exercises (squats, deadlifts, push ups, pull ups…), conditioning (cardio that won’t leave you feeling burnt out) and stretching for a cooldown.

What is functional training?

This is a term that has been given a bad reputation over the last few years. Functional training is not all the weird exercises you see on Instagram. What it really is, is a method of training that improves the quality of your life outside of the gym. Here are a few examples of what functional training can do for you: being able to play with your kids outside, being able to go for a hike without thinking if you will be able to do it, spending 8 hours a day sitting in front of the computer and needing to move your body. These are all examples of how Functional Training can improve your life.

Sport Conditioning

Do you want to get better at your chosen sport? Well then Sport Conditioning is the option for you. We will work on correcting certain strength, stability and conditioning deficits that might be hindering your performance on the field. This option is available for kids (10 years and older), teens and adults.
